Drudow Print · for shops

Customers' files,
straight to your screen.

Customers scan the Drudow QR code on your counter and send their file on WhatsApp. It shows up on your Drudow Print page with their name, ready to print. No files on your phone, no numbers to save.

Your print queue is at drudow.com/shop. Bookmark it on the computer next to your printer.

Getting set up

Three steps, once.

There's nothing to install. A browser on the computer next to your printer is all it takes.

  1. 1

Sign up your shop in English, Hinglish or Hindi: its name and area, a shop code and a password. You see your poster before you finish, and confirm with one WhatsApp message from the owner's number. One number, one shop.

  2. 2

Open drudow.com/shop on the computer next to your printer and sign in with your shop code and password. Set up by the Drudow team? Use the PIN they gave you, then choose your own password.

  3. 3

    Put up your QR code

Click Print QR poster at the top of your page and put it on the counter. It also shows Drudow's WhatsApp number and your shop code, for phones that can't scan.

At the counter

Scan, send, print.

  1. 1

Keep your print queue open. New files appear under Waiting on their own, every few seconds.

  2. 2

The customer scans your QR code, taps Send in WhatsApp and sends the file. Drudow shows them your shop's name to confirm before it reaches you.

  3. 3

It appears under Waiting with the customer's name, or the last 4 digits of their number when Drudow has no name for them. Never their full number.

  4. 4

Click their name, then Print. Word, Excel and PowerPoint files can't be shown in a browser: download them and print from Office.

  5. 5

Hand the print over to the customer it's for. Not sure? Ask to see Drudow's message on their phone.

  6. 6

Click ✓ Printed and the file is deleted. Didn't print it? Click Remove without printing.

Customers' files

Printed, then gone.

Customers don't need your WhatsApp number, and you never see theirs.

Deleted after printing

A file is deleted as soon as you mark it printed, and 30 minutes after it arrives at most. Each one shows how long it has left.

No phone numbers

You see the customer's name, or the last 4 digits of their number. Two customers with the same name are marked, so you can check who's who.

A day of history

Done today lists customers' names and file names for 24 hours, then removes them.

Earnings out of sight

What you earn has its own tab, off the waiting list customers can see, and the page goes back to the list after a minute.

What you earn

Paid for the customers you bring.

₹1for each new print
Bonuscredits for regular customers
₹5for each new customer who starts keeping their documents with Drudow within a week
Monthly goal · from 1 November
₹1,000 kamaiye, ₹2,000 paiye.

Earn ₹1,000 in a month and Drudow adds ₹1,000 more. Short of it, you're still paid everything you earned. Your Earnings tab shows how much is left, burning down as you earn.

  • Paid by UPI every month once you're owed ₹100 or more. A smaller amount carries over to the next month.
  • Your Earnings tab shows this month's total, the customers you served and what's due to you.
  • Customers who send files to your own WhatsApp? Your page's Share link tab has your Drudow link and a message to send them, and the greeting to set in WhatsApp Business.
  • Prints sent from your shop's own WhatsApp numbers don't count. In the pilot, a shop can earn up to ₹1,000 a month, plus the goal bonus. A shop that joins after the 1st starts its first goal the next month.
Good to know

When something's off.

The customer's WhatsApp didn't open

Your poster shows Drudow's WhatsApp number and your shop code. They can send the code to that number on WhatsApp, then send their file.

Two customers with the same name are waiting

Your page marks them. Check the time each one sent their file, or ask to see Drudow's message on their phone.

I forgot my password

Ask the Drudow team for a new PIN. Your old password stops working and you're signed out on every computer. Sign in with the PIN, then choose a new password.

Customers use this computer too

Then don't tick Keep this computer signed in when you sign in: you're signed out when the browser closes. Tick it only on a computer customers never use, and it stays signed in for 30 days.

I want to stop for a while

Write to us and we'll pause your shop. Your QR code then tells customers the shop isn't taking Drudow prints, and they can send their file the usual way.

Who do I ask for help?
